Calendar and Task Overview

A planned day is a productive day. Soffront Calendar/Task helps you to stay organized and keep track of all your appointments and tasks. Be it a meeting, networking event or a phone call at the right time. This is the page you want to check first thing in the morning.

From the calendar/tasks page, you can choose between viewing:
– Both calendar (appointments) and task list on one page
– Just the task list

Soffront will remember your selection the next time you log in.

Appointments & Task

Soffront Calendar task is divided into two sections. Appointments and tasks. You will find more details about the Appointment and Task section below.

 

Appointments Only

The Appointments only /calendar shows you all your upcoming appointments by day, week, month and agenda. You can also view a colleague’s calendars that you have permission to access. You can filter your events according to canceled, completed and scheduled or according to Type ( All, Meetings and Demo).

  • You can drag-and-drop appointments across all calendar tabs.
  • You can categorize appointments using appointment Types and see your appointments color-coded by type on the calendar.

  • You can see the availability and calendars of your team side by side. If your colleague or another CRM user has provided permission to share their calendar. You can select the user’s name from the ” Calendar for” dropdown list and click the refresh button. Now you will be able to see there scheduled appointment on the calendar page. To differentiate between your appointments and appointments scheduled by another user, the calenders will appear side by side with the user’s name on the top.

Add a new Appointment

Click on the ADD dropdown then select Calendar. Or click on the time and date where you’d like to add the appointment and fill in the quick add form.

  • You can set up three reminders for the appointment.
  • Create repetitive appointments. Such as a Company meeting every week on Monday.
  • Sync your Soffront calendar with your Outlook and Google calendars.
  • Add notes to the account record.
  • Invite other users to the appointment.

In order to edit an existing Appointment, click the block in the calendar and change what you need in the quick add form or drag and drop the block to the date and time you want. To change the duration click on the time block and drag the bottom of the block up or down.

Note: Adding an appointment from the quick add form will just schedule a basic appointment but will not link it to any Account or Contact. You will need to link it manually.

Task

Tasks are chores that needs to be completed by you or a team member. Tasks section reflects the due date, task name, company name and the contact email address for each task. Click on the company name to open account’s detail view page where you will find all account information and notes.

Click on the dropdown beside My task to filter your tasks according to overdue, today’s and future tasks that needs to be completed.

Click on the customize section to complete a task, move it to next day, next week or delete a task.

Add a new Task

Click on the ADD dropdown and select Task then fill in the quick add form.

  • Similar to Appointment you can set up three reminders for the task.
  • Create repetitive tasks. Such as, Follow up call every monday of the week.
  • Add notes to the account record.

Note: Adding a task from the quick add form will just add a basic task but will not link it to any Account or Contact. You will need to link it manually.
