Create a New Task on Mobile App

Creating Tasks from Mobile App is easy and smooth now. Follow the steps below:

Create a new Task from the Calendar Screen

1) From the Home screen of Calendar, tap on the Plus “+” sign shown below:

2) It will show you 2 options as below. Tap on Add a Task option

3) Fill in the details on Add Task Form and tap on Save option.

Task Name: Type in a task name. for example: Send Follow-up email or Call to Sale

Due By: Set a due date or deadline for your task. Tap on the Due date field to bring up the calendar. Select a date then the time from the screen.

Status: For a new task, by default status will be Pending. You can change the status to Completed or Cancelled when required.

Company: Start to type in a company name and your app will search and show you a list of all available companies corresponded to the search keyword from the list of your CRM database and select the correct company name from the result for task creation.

Contact Name: Once you select the Company, all the contacts from that company will show up. Select a contact from the list.

Description: Type in a short description or a few details of the Task.

Owner: By default, the task will be assigned to you. You can assign it to someone else by selecting a user from the drop-down list.

4) Once the Task is created, it will appear on the Calendar Home screen.

Note: The Task has a Clock icon and an Appointment has a Calendar icon.

Create a new Task From Account Detail Screen

From the Account detail Screen, tap on Related tab and then tap on the Plus “+” sign next to Task option. It will open the form to fill in the details for creating a new Task.

  • Complete: You can Complete the Task by tapping on the Complete option.
  • Reschedule: You can Reschedule to the task to a future date
  • Add a Note: You can add a Note to the Task details.
  • Edit: You can Edit or Modify the Task details.
  • Delete: You can delete the Task by tapping on the Delete option.

Note: Complete option will not appear if the due date of the Task has expired.
