Reminders and Alerts

In Soffront CRM, you can setup both Reminders and Alerts for actions on sent emails, replies from text messages, upcoming appointments, and tasks. In addition, you can also customize your own Reminder based on different objects for specific actions. See below:

How to access Alerts & Notifications settings?

  1. Login to your CRM and navigate to the User profile -> Settings. Under Settings, go
  2. to My Settings -> Alerts & Notifications

On the Reminder and Alert screen, you will find various options to set up your reminders and notifications.

Difference between Notification and Reminder

  • Notifications are alerts about a change in an action that has occurred.
  • Reminders are alarms triggered at a specified time before an event starts.

Notify Me When.

  • My email is opened– Someone has opened your Sales Email.
  • My email is clicked– My email Someone has clicked on a link in your Sales Email.
  • My text is replied– Someone has replied to your Text Message (SMS)

By default, the notifications are turned on, to turn off the notification move the button to the left by clicking on it. Then click on save to save the changes.

Remind Me Before.

  • Upcoming Appointments – An upcoming appointment which is already scheduled on Soffront Calendar.
  • Upcoming Tasks– An upcoming task that has to be completed within due date for a specific purpose

Add a New Reminder

You can add a new reminder for the below purpose.

Before:

  • Contacts Birth Day
  • Projects Due Date
  • Opportunity Close Date

For example, you want to get a reminder 2 days prior to your contact’s birthday. in order to set it up, you need to click on “Add a Reminder” option. Then type in a value in days field and select Contacts and Birthday next to it. After that click on Save and Turn on the Reminder.
