When contacts unsubscribe themselves from your marketing emails, then the system automatically changes their email status from “opted in” to “opted out”. However, if you want then you can manually unsubscribe individuals and multiple contacts in bulk also.
In this article, you’ll learn how to unsubscribe contacts individually and in bulk
Bulk Unsubscribe:
To bulk unsubscribe, select multiple contacts from the list, and follow the steps below
From the Home screen, Navigate to Sales -> Contacts -> Contacts Home and open any Group or Contacts Filter to select multiple records from the list and click on the More icon to Unsubscribe them.
Individual Unsubscribe:
To unsubscribe a single contact from their profile, follow these steps.
From the Home screen, Navigate to Sales -> Contacts -> Contacts Home > Search to Open the Contact Detail View (Shown Below) and click on the More icon to select Unsubscribe.
You will get a popup screen on the right-hand side of the screen with the below options
If you want then you can do the followings:
Email: Unsubscribe from Marketing Emails
Texts: Unsubscribe from SMS Text Service.
Both: Unsubscribe from Email and SMS text
Select the desired option from the list and click on the Unsubscribe button.
Note: An unsubscribed contact can always be resubscribed if they were removed by mistake or choose to receive your content again. Below article will explain the process
