How to create Pivot Reports

Now you will be able to create a custom Pivot report for a more organized representation of information and better data analysis.

Follow the steps below to create a Pivot Report.

1. Go to Sales > Report, click on the Add button on the Report Home screen to create a new custom report:

2. Select the object for which you want to create the Report. E.g. Accounts

3. There are two types of custom reports you can create. They are Tabular and Pivot. You need to select the Pivot option fro the drop down.

4. Under the Step 1 section there are several fields that you need to fill up with suitable data for moving to the next step. E.g. You want to run the report based on the accounts filter. So you need to select Accounts as an option under the Filter category list.

5. Click on the Next button after filling up all the required fields in Step 1 section → Step 2 section will be navigated along with its components

6. Now you have to select the fields from the  Pivot Field List section as required and set the Rows, Columns, and Values accordingly

7. Choose the option from the drop-down list at the bottom based on how you want to show the report. E.g. Show Graphically, Bar, Line, etc, and click on the checkboxes to show the grand and subtotal values. 

8. Click on the Save button after setting the fields as required and then click on the Run button → The report should appear according to the parameters.
