How to access Reports Home

Accessing Sales Reports from your login is now more convenient. The Reports Home will allow you to access all your existing/custom reports in one place. The Home section will be similar to other object Home (e.g.: Accounts/Contacts/Opportunities).

This time we are empowering the customers with Add option to create new custom report for each object of Sales module. Manage Report permission from Security Level settings will enable the user to perform Add/Edit/Delete any custom report.

Follow the steps below to access Sales Reports Home.

1. Mouse hover on Reports menu of Sales module → Reports Home option is displayed

 

2. Reports Home option is clicked→ Reports Home page opens along with its components

3. Under Available Reports all the existing reports will be displayed along with Search option

4. Report icon will be distinct from bar chart report (e.g.: Activity Report) and list view report (e.g.: Task Report)

5. Clicking on the Search icon, Search box will open

Tip: Type here to search placeholder will be displayed in the search text box

6. Entering any text matching the report name, the corresponding report will be displayed. 

Otherwise No Report found. message will be displayed.

7. Recently Viewed Reports section will display the opened report title. The sorting should be based on recently opened report.

Tip: Maximum 25 report-titles should be displayed there. The latest opened report should be displayed at the top.

8. After opening any report, if you mouse hover on Reports menu →The recently opened reports should be displayed there.

 

Tip: Maximum 15 report-titles should be displayed there.

9. After clicking on the Add button, a list will appear mentioning the object wise add report options

Tip: Customer will be able to create new custom report using the Add button for each object of Sales module based upon Manage Report permission for the user.
