How to Find the Right Notes?

Sometimes, when you looking at an account or contact, it is difficult to go through all your notes and find out information you are looking for. If that happens, you can filter your notes –

  • All – You would see all notes for that account.
  • User – You would only see the notes added by you and other users.
  • System – You would only see the notes added through CRM updates and alerts.
  • My – You would only see the notes added by you.

You can also use wildcard search to search your notes –

Sometimes, you don’t know what exactly you are looking for. That’s when wildcard search may come in handy. Wildcard search can be used as placeholder for any sequence of characters or words. you can use a partial word to search for your notes.

  • Select ALL then type the relevant keyword that you’re trying to search.

Example: Here we want to find out a note which has  the word ‘Status’ in it. The word ‘Status’ can be anywhere in the note, so we can search with *status*

This will search all notes which has the word ‘status’ anywhere in the text.
