How to Assign a Record ?

Soffront CRM now has made the record assignment process simple and easy. You can assign a record Either from the List view or from the Details view. To assign a record follow the steps below:

Batch Assign multiple records from List View:

1. Select a single/multiple records from the list view and click on More icon from the floating menu. See below: After clicking on More icon, you will get a list from which you need to select the Assign option. See below:

 

Or Assign individual records from the detail view:

2. Open a record to see the detail view and click on More icon at the top right hand corner to select Assign.

3. The assign window will appear as shown in the image below:

4. Select the user from the drop-down field and click Assign. You can also type in and search the name of the user to whom you want to assign. 

Note: In case of single record you can only assign to a single user.

5. An email will also be sent to the user when the Send Email check box is selected.

6. In case of multiple records, the assignment will be done in Round Robin procedure. The assign window will appear as shown in he image below:

Note : In case of multiple records you can assign from a list of multiple users.

Once the record is assigned to multiple users a dialogue box appears as shown in the image below:
