How to Send Bulk SMS from CRM?

Soffront is pleased to announce the inclusion in our latest release of a sophisticated, unique SMS solution that allows you to broadcast text messages to a Group as well as to individual leads and its contacts. Bulk Text Messages are used to send a text message to multiple records.

Note: You need to have SMS Integration activated in your CRM and all contacts should have their Mobile Phone number present in your CRM database. Also, their TEXT status should be opted-in and it’s for the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Australia only.

Here we will take the example of the Account database but the steps are the same for Contact as well.

Go to Sales -> Accounts -> Accounts Home -> Open any Group Or Filter from the list.

Select Multiple Records from the list and then click on Send Text Message icon.

It will show you a pop-up box like below based on the status of the selected records.

You need to click on OK and it will open the Batch SMS Compose Page on the screen.

Select From Mobile Number from the Dropdown

Either Type Or Select an SMS Template from the Dropdown.

You can insert a picture and merge tag in SMS.

Then either you can Send the SMS now Or Schedule it for a Later date.

 

SMS messages will be sent to the mobile phone number listed on the contacts, leads or accounts that you’ve associated with the Bulk Text Message record. Individual “Text Message” activities will be recorded against the recipient records so you can view the sent messages in Closed Activities.
