Use coupons to offer discounts to your leads and customers. Using coupons, you will be able to:
- Define flat-rate and percentage based discount coupons.
- Send coupon codes via email to leads and customers. The recipients can claim coupons.
- See a detailed report of claims within a date range.
A coupon has these attributes:
- Name – a friendly name to identify the coupon. Your leads and customers won’t see this name.
- Discount – $ value or % based.
- Optional prefix – An optional prefix for the coupon code.
- Claim limits
- If the coupon can be claimed by a lead and customer more than once.
- If the coupon has an expiration date.
How to Define Coupons
- To create a new coupon, go to Marketing > Offers > Coupons > Click the Add button.
- Enter a name to identify the coupon.
- Choose The Fixed Amount or Percentage options depending on the type of discount for this coupon.
- You can specify a prefix for the coupon code that will appear with Coupon
- You can specify a product/service to apply the coupon code
- You can define if the coupon code can be used at once or more then once.
- You can also set the Expiration date of a Coupon in CRM After making the above changes, click on the Save button to create a Coupon.
After you create some Coupons, they will appear on the list as follows:
You can add the Coupon code in a Marketing Template through the Coupon button.
Once you send the Marketing Email to your customer, they will see the Coupon as follows:
You can also Track who has claimed your coupon by going into the Coupon Report screen.
