How to Convert the Workflow and their Stages?

You may have set up multiple Workflows for Account and Opportunities. Now you can change the Workflow for existing records in two different ways.

Convert the Workflow and its Status of an individual record. (E.g – Account) from Detail View

1) When you are on the detail view of a record, click on the Convert option (Shown below)

 

2) It will show you the Convert screen where you need to click on the Change Workflow icon. You can find this option only if you have multiple Workflows for Account Objects.

3) Change the Current Workflow by selecting another workflow Name from the drop-down and change its corresponding leads status from the next drop-down below:

Create Next Tasks: It will create and auto-assign tasks from the next stage during status conversion. Unchecking the box will not create or assign any pre-defined tasks to the new stage.

Complete Pending Tasks: You can complete all pending tasks during conversion or you can uncheck them so that they will carry forward and get add with the Next Stage’s tasks.

Update Contact Status (Optional): You can select and update the status of a linked Contact during account conversion.

4) After that add a Note and click on the Convert button.

 

Convert the Workflow and its Status of multiple records. (E.g – Account) from List View

1) When you are on the List view of a record, select multiple records (Shown below)

2) Then click on the More icon (:) and select Convert option from the list (Shown above)

3) It will open a drawer at the right-hand side from where you can select a different workflow name and change its corresponding linked Status. Then click on Convert.
